Is it free?
Yes, the download and core gameplay are free. Just install the app and start capturing.
Do I need to keep the app open while running?
No. The track is recorded in the background and with the screen off — you can put the phone in your pocket.
How exactly is territory counted?
Your route is broken into hex cells using the Uber H3 system. Cells you pass through turn your color; inactive holdings "cool down" over time.
Can I take cells from other players?
Yes. Run across someone else's territory and the cells become yours. That is the essence of the empire.
What data does the app use?
Primarily geolocation — to record your route and count territory. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
